Nintendo and Cygame’s Dragalia Lost has unfortunately announced its plans to end service around July 2022. Dragolia Lost was one of Nintendo’s first mobile games along with Mario Run and Fire Emblem Heroes. The game was unique in that it was a brand-new IP unlike the other games that were connected to an existing Nintendo franchise. Dragalia Lost is a mobile 3D RPG game featuring unique characters and monsters along with appearances of characters from existing Nintendo games such as Fire Emblem Heroes.
After more than 3 years of service since September 2018, Dragalia Lost will be shutting down once it reaches the conclusion of its story at Chapter 26. No additional content (besides the Main Story) and summoning will be introduced after March 30, 2022.
Dragalia Lost serves as a bitter reminder about the nature of Live Service Mobile Games. All things must come to an end and once the service is gone, so too will all progress and purchases.
Players will have a few months left to play until July 2022. Experience the game in its final moments and witness the end of its story.
